RIARP Fall Gathering

We will holding our Fall Meeting on November 13, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Pal’s Restaurant in East Greenwich. This located at 43 Division Street, East Greenwich. The directions are simple enough from Rte 4 take Exit 8  east and follow Division Street until you cross over Post Road. Stay on Division two more blocks. Pal’s is at the corner of Duke and Division. Enter the building from Duke Street. There is ample parking around. It may easier just to get on Post Road (which becomes Main Street in downtown East Greenwich) and turn east onto Division. Division Street forms the boundary between the City of Warwick and the Town of East Greenwich, hence its name.

The agenda will consist of our annual elections (postpone because of the NARP meeting in Springfield), a report on NARP’s 50th Anniverary Celebration in Chicago, an update on Kingston Station renovations, as well as the latest news on Amtrak. A full list of agenda items will listed on the newsletter which I should have written and mailed out soon.

Since this is our annual elections, we would encourage anyone who wants to run for any position to let me know. We can even create additional positions if you think you can fulfill this position.

At Pal’s a full line of delicious food can be ordered off of their menu. It is primarily Italian but many other items are available. The meeting is free but you have to pay for whatever food you order. As always, the meeting is open to anyone interested in passenger rail. Feel free to bring a guest to enjoy what will a casual and informative meeting.
